I inherited my passion for jewelry from my loving mother, who passed away in 1989. As a little girl, I remember playing with her jewelry, and today, it makes me feel connected to her and her legacy. Every day, I carry her memory with me as I help people find just the right piece for their tastes, lifestyle, and budget. My customers are my first priority, and giving back to the community that has given me so much is my honor and joy. I was born and raised in San Antonio, and graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 2000. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, I decided to make a career of my love of fine jewelry and completed the graduate gemologist program at the Gemological Institute of America. I was hired to help open a jewelry store in San Antonio and bought the store with my business partner in 2009. After many cherished years, in 2017, I decided to sell my interest in the store and independently open Kelly Wade Jewelers. My family is the joy of my life. I’ve been happily married to my husband, Steven, for seven years. My sweet stepdaughter, Nancy (11), and rambunctious daughter, Raleigh (4), constantly keep me on my toes.

He is committed to honesty, creating positive customer experiences, and ensuring great employees are happy and empowered. Steven grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Alamo Heights High School. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin and Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. I was born and raised in San Antonio and recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in communications and music. For the past year, I worked in the hospitality and journalism fields in Colorado. Though my stint in the Rockies served me well, I’m thrilled to return to my stomping grounds and work with the dynamic team of bright women at Kelly Wade Jewelers. There’s something truly unique about fine jewelry. It represents fashion, art, heritage, and beauty. I look forward to helping people thoughtfully choose special pieces of jewelry for themselves and their loved ones.

I moved to San Antonio from Las Vegas in 2011, when my husband accepted an executive position in the oil and gas industry. It didn’t take long for my husband, our two daughters and I to fall in love with the Alamo City. Before moving to the great state of Texas, I spent ten years in marketing and sales. When we moved to SA, I took a sabbatical to focus on our two daughters and grow my photography business. I’ve always been fascinated with jewelry, especially the notion that each piece has a history and a story to tell. Perhaps some of my interest in gemstones was kindled by my father-in-law, who owned a jewelry store inside Caesars Palace in the 1980s and told captivating stories about his experiences there. I’m so excited about this new venture and thrilled to be a part of the Kelly Wade Jewelers team!

I grew up in Houston and attended The University of Texas at Austin. Kelly and I became friends at UT and stayed connected after graduation. When I decided to move to San Antonio, Kelly was the first person I called! I helped her start her first jewelry store and worked there for a few years. In 2008, I married Bret Broussard Jr., and we now have three spunky, hilarious children. Working with Kelly the second time around has been an absolute blast. I’ve loved helping her design her new store and look forward to seeing it become a central partner in the Alamo Heights community.

I graduated from Southern Methodist University with degrees in fine art and art history. Since then, I’ve lived in Aspen, Washington DC, Houston, and San Antonio, as I pursued careers in public relations, event planning, and nonprofit fund-raising. However, having lived in San Antonio with my husband and three boys for 25 years, I can truly say SA is my home.

My passion for style and design, and my love of jewelry and fashion, stem from years of antiquing adventures with my mother, who had impeccable taste and artistic instincts. Those trips incited my obsession with vintage jewelry. I also dabbled in jewelry design with my father, who owned a jewelry and corporate awards business. Jewelry should be an extension of the person wearing it, and I look forward to helping customers choose just the right pieces to project their personality and passions.
